Paper, Cartons and Tape
When moving items, it is essential to wrap and package them correctly. Moving is not what household items were made for, so give everything the best protection by using the correct materials.
If you are packing your own belongings, and live locally, we can supply removalist cartons as well as tape and new butcher’s paper. As noted in Moving Tips, it makes a huge difference on moving day when all boxes are of uniform size so they can pack easily on top of each other in the truck.
Many people think they are economizing by using ‘free’ boxes from the local fruito but these tend to cave in when stacked, or don’t close correctly and can’t be uniformly stacked. The extra time and effort it takes the removalist to load with these creates frustration and concern on their part as the risk of damage is much greater.
Our cartons are double thickness removalist cartons. They are meant to be moved and to protect your goods. It is essential that you use strong tape – again we sell this at competitive prices.
We can also supply crushed paper to cushion your crockery and fragile goods. This is available free from our depot.
