If you are moving north of the border to Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast QLD – there are a variety of options available to you.

We have container trucks which carry households separately in 2 containers on the one vehicle, so this can save you money. Alternatively, our semi-trailers can be sectioned off to take multiple removals and again you can save as you share the costs. Your goods are separately compartmentalized in the vehicle.

Alternatively, we are happy to take your goods up exclusively - just contact us so we can discuss what works best for you. Our drivers:

• know their times and can accurately predict their arrival based on your needs.
• know where to take extra care as they drive in order to avoid any sudden jarring of your furniture.
• know your new area and the safest, most direct route to get there.

Because we are travelling through the area sometimes as far as Cairns, we are often able to pick up or deliver goods while we are heading north or south – depending on the timing. This will save you money if you can work in with when we are in your area.

A few items

If you have just a few items you would like delivered somewhere we are traveling through, then simply tell us:

• the items you want moved - please be as specific as possible - timber framed slat double bed and mattress is much better than ‘double bed’,
• where you live and what the access is like (bearing in mind we may be in a semi-trailer)
• where you want the items to go and the access there
• how flexible you are with your dates

More than a few items - to a houseful

If you are moving house and do not live on the Central Coast, then please complete the online quotation form. This will give us the details we need in order to give you an accurate quote. Ensure you include everything you are taking and remember outdoor furniture, garden and garage equipment, items in the rafters and other places you may overlook.

Also remember the contents of cupboards and wardrobes, desks and drawers- and estimate how many removal cartons would be filled. It’s vital you use strong removal cartons for your goods, so they can be stacked on top of each other in an orderly way. It is false economy to use old boxes from shops unless they are the same size and double thickness strength. Proper removal cartons allow the men to stack them on top of each other and then tie them off. When all shapes and sizes are packed, it becomes a jigsaw puzzle taking more time and not allowing the load to be optimized or tied off correctly.

We also rely on your information regarding access at both the pick-up and delivery addresses. As we generally travel interstate in semi-trailers, it’s important to assess how we can get your goods from the house/office to the vehicle and vice versa on delivery.

High rise apartments pose particular challenges so we appreciate you being as specific as possible regarding lifts and how close the truck can get to the property (eg driveways, turning circles etc.). The more accurate the information, the more accurate our quote and the assurance that all will go smoothly on your moving day.
